Acme Theater Productions
Acme Theater Productions is a non-profit community theater group based in Maynard, MA. Acme is a member of the Eastern Massachusetts Association of Community Theaters (EMACT) and the American Association of Community Theaters (AACT). The company was formed in 1992 by a group of theater enthusiasts who believed in providing a high quality of amateur theater to the public at a reasonable price. Acme's membership is a diverse group of volunteers, with talents they are willing to share both on stage and behind the scenes.
Actorsingers
Based in Nashua, NH, the Actorsingers is a community theater group that has presented musicals for more than 50 years. The group welcomes actors and singers, dancers and musicians, creative designers of scenery, costumes and lighting; carpenters, technicians, publicists, ticket takers, and all manner of folks who enjoy working together to create the magic of theater.Arlington Friends of Drama
The Arlington Friends of Drama is one of the ten oldest continually operating community theatre groups in the United States. Back in the early 1930s, we outbid the Odd Fellows and came in with the highest bid for theSt. John's Episcopal Church building, now our theatre. We bid $8,200. Our first major musical, Iolanthe was performed in our 12th season (1935). We have the minutes of every Board of Directors meeting since our very first meeting in 1923. We've had 35 presidents - 20 women and 15 men!
Barre Players Theater
Barre Players Theater is a non-profit theater organization based in the community of Barre, Massachusetts. Our season consists of 4 plays including a Holiday Special. The season runs from September to June, with Youth Theater programs in the summer.
Concord Players
Since 1919, the Concord Players have been producing many award-winning plays and musicals. With a membership of over 400 members, the Players are dedicated to presenting quality theatre to the citizens of Concord and the surrounding communities.
Harvard Community Theatre
The Harvard Community Theatre, housed in the 700 seat Cronin Auditorium at the Bromfield School, is a non-profit theatrical organization dedicated to bringing quality, affordable entertainment to Central Massachusetts.Nashua Theater Guild
The Nashua Theater Guild is the oldest continuously operating (nonmusical) Community Theater Group in Southern New Hampshire. NTG was organized in 1961 to perform small theater plays and has been bringing quality entertainment to the Nashua area audiences ever since.
Peacock Players
Founded in 1974 by Rita Harden and incorporated with the State of NH as a non-profit children's theater organization in August 2002, the Peacock Players has been named by New Hampshire Magazine as "The Best Children's' Theater in New Hampshire".
Stratton Players
In their 77th season, Stratton Players is one of the oldest community theatre groups in the country. Drawing its members from all over the area, they are known as a group which consistently presents quality theater for the enjoyment of the public. Despite wars and depressions, The Stratton Players has endured continuing to provide a creative outlet for men and women interested in acting, costuming, set design or construction, publicity, or stage management.
Theatre to Go
Established in 1998, Theatre to Go is a community theatre based out of the St. James United Methodist Church in Stoneham, MA. The group has performed several well known shows including "The Diary of Anne Frank", "Steel Magnolias", "The Secret Garden", "The Fantasticks" & "Nunsense"!
